How This Works
Someone writes something about John’s books. Yep – it’s that easy. (Seriously, it has to start somewhere.) In years past reviewers would often compose and submit their review for us to share on our site in its entirety. With the propagation of social media sites people now post their thoughts on their own sites and blogs. However it is done, we still enjoy finding and sharing new reviews. How To Be Included
New reviews are added by one of two methods:
- Reviewers email us that their review is available online
- We eventually come across it on our own.
What We Accept
Opinion pieces, summary reviews, or scholarly reviews of any title in the Bellairs Corpus - be it review of the book, television adaptation, audio book, or film. We reserve the right to edit reviews for clarity, brevity, and good taste.
We also accept reviews of Brad Strickland’s non-Bellairs work for inclusion on our Stricklandia blog.
Submissions that are ridiculously short (e.g. one or two sentences) or simply regurgitate the plot without introducing any opinion are generally ignored.
The Fine Print
All content is copyright their respective authors. Excerpts reprinted on our blog for educational and/or archival purposes only. And if your review catches our eye we might even consider you for one of our interviews. Please contact Bellairsia to submit content or contribute to one of our other projects.
